System Description
This system enables real-time monitoring of moisture migration and pore-water pressure variations in unsaturated soils under complex stress states, providing unprecedented data support for understanding the mechanical and hydraulic behavior of unsaturated soils.
Using this system, researchers can conduct in-depth investigations into the transient hydraulic conductivity of unsaturated soils—a key parameter critical for evaluating soil water transport capacity, predicting soil moisture changes, and understanding water exchange processes between soil and vegetation. Meanwhile, the system can measure the dissipation process of excess pore-water pressure, which plays a vital role in analyzing soil consolidation, foundation settlement, and the stability of geotechnical engineering projects.
