Compatible with the loading mainframe of triaxial apparatus for high cost performance. Suitable for plane strain tests of earth dams, tunnels, retaining walls and other structures.

System Features

• Equipped with a full-surface deformation image measurement system for soil samples.

• Built-in force sensor, square flexible pressure cell is adopted for loading in the σ₃ direction.

• Innovative movable plate design is applied in the σ₁ direction to minimize the influence of axial friction on axial force measurement.

• A thin water film is added between the σ₂ direction and the front surface of the specimen to reduce friction.

• Digital image measurement technology is used to directly measure specimen deformation and study the shear failure  process of soil samples.
