In May 2024, a breakthrough was made in the on- site testing of deep in-situ testing implemented by China Railway Fourth Institute for the East Hub Project of Shanghai East Railway Station. The final penetration depth of the flat shovel lateral expansion test reached 81.3 meters, and the penetration depth of the static penetration test reached 151.7 meters.
Main Features
DMT test combines the functions and advantages of CPT and Pressuremeter Test, with fast, accurate and economical testing, suitable for various types of clay, silt and sandy soil layers.
The test data has good reproducibility, minimal human influence factors, automatic data collection and storage, and automatic control of test signals. It is the first of its kind both domestically and internationally, and has a DMT data processing system (software) for bidirectional communication.
Multiple important parameters of soil can be provided, including lateral pressure coefficient Ko, pore water pressure U, undrained shear strength Cu, effective internal friction angle of sandy soil, subgrade reaction coefficient Kn, over consolidation ratio OCR, compression modulus, elastic modulus, shear modulus, soil layer classification and naming, compaction control, bulk density, and determination of liquefaction of sandy soil.
Test pressure range: 0-6MPa Test depth: 0-50m (soft soil can be deepened).
